In Full Bloom
Wedding flowers are taking over the décor of the room. More flowers the better, from flower walls to bespoke backdrops. Table centre pieces gives a table height by using foliage of all colours, the higher the better. People want to be able to see over the table and not have trailing centre pieces in the way. I have seen this many times, where you have paid large sums of money for your centre piece only for it to be put on the floor. SO – Full height approximately 90 – 120 centimetres and more foliage than flowers.
One of the most interesting trends at the moment, is, bespoke aisles and ceremony backdrops. Using draping and foliage and flowers, you can create and style to suit you theme or colour. Adding confetti down the aisle and lanterns given a romantic appeal. Don’t overdo it though as this can spoil the whole picture. Subtle and elegance is the key.
Secret gardens/enchanted gardens are high on the agenda at the minute. Lots of hanging decorations, lanterns and picture frames for people to take selfies. Festive inter-connecting lighting outdoors and festival lighting is popular at the minute. Bringing to gardens to life. Tea lights in jam jars decorated, even with wild flowers to add extra colour. Very Victorian.
